Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, using clinical assessments to establish a personalized treatment plan.
• Implementing effective therapeutic interventions for a variety of patient cases, including orthopedic and sports medicine conditions.
• Monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment protocols to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Providing patient education on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and long-term self-management strategies.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to collectively enhance patient outcomes and ensure integrated care.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient care in compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Demonstrating exceptional customer service skills, thereby facilitating a supportive environment for patients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and sports-related conditions. Qualifications

To be successful in this position, candidates must have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and valid state license for physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, it is advantageous to have experience in orthopedic physical therapy and familiarity with advanced rehabilitation techniques. Compensation and Benefits
