Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, operating in a home care setting within the vibrant community of Hollywood, Florida. You will engage directly with patients in their homes, providing you with unique insight into their daily environments and challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations of clients' physical conditions and needs, using evidence-based practices to develop tailored treatment plans that address specific orthopedic issues.
• Implement one-on-one hands-on therapy sessions, utilizing advanced techniques and tools such as therapeutic exercises, modalities for pain relief, and specialized manual therapy.
• Educate patients and their families about home exercises and self-management strategies to promote long-term health and recovery.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers, ensuring each patient receives holistic treatment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, adhering to state and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those managing chronic conditions, and individuals aiming to improve their mobility following injuries. You will work closely with a diverse patient demographic, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation clients to active adult patients, ensuring personalized treatment approaches that resonate with their unique recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong foundational knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, pathology, and therapeutic modalities.
• Proficiency in developing detailed and effective treatment regimens tailored to individual patient assessment findings.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in physical therapy practice, with a demonstrated focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.

• Previous work in a home care environment is highly desirable, providing familiarity with delivering care in patient homes.

Compensation and Benefits

This rewarding position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
