Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy is seeking an experienced and compassionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team based in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with the latest sports medicine technology, designed to support our clients' rehabilitation needs. With a dedicated team of two physical therapists and one PTA, our focus is on individualized service, primarily catering to patients with private medical insurance.

Work Environment

This position is onsite in our Pembroke Pines therapy center, where you'll work in a collaborative and encouraging atmosphere. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you a stable work-life balance while fully engaging with patients throughout the week. You will manage a caseload of individual patients, ensuring each person receives the dedicated attention they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals, functional needs, and barriers to recovery.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with best practices and evidence-based interventions.
• Provide high-quality physical therapy sessions focusing on improving patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Evaluate and document treatment progress and outcomes consistently to inform ongoing care strategies.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises tailored to each patient's specific conditions.
• Motivate and educate patients in health maintenance practices and lifestyle choices that support recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care services using EMR software, particularly WebPT, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients vary in age and conditions, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will engage with patients to not only provide therapeutic interventions but also to inspire them to adopt a powerful role in their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster effective patient relationships and collaborative working dynamics.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting with a comprehensive understanding of treatment protocols.
• Proficient in developing exercise prescription programs and executing manual therapy techniques.
• A history of positive patient outcomes and experiences in a similar setting will be highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
