Work Environment

The work setting for this role is entirely onsite as you will be visiting patients in their homes throughout Pembroke Pines and surrounding areas. You will engage with patients in their own spaces, allowing for a personalized therapeutic experience that is conducive to faster rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and adjust individualized therapy plans for patients, placing a strong emphasis on early intervention and same-day evaluations to facilitate optimal healing.
• Conduct thorough clinical evaluations and re-evaluations, accurately interpreting results and adjusting treatment plans based on the needs and responses of the patients.
• Perform meticulous chart reviews and data collection to ensure that all patient information is up-to-date, aiding in the continuous improvement of our treatment protocols.
• Foster a collaborative relationship with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to discuss patient histories, intervention strategies, and progress updates.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of complex medical diagnoses, including understanding relevant laboratory and radiology results, and recognizing contraindications and necessary precautions for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on managing a diverse patient population, including those recovering from surgery, injuries, chronic illnesses, and those in need of rehabilitative support to improve mobility and independence. Each patient will be approached with a holistic understanding of their unique circumstances, ensuring that their physical therapy plans not only aim for recovery but also enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Florida State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A degree in Physical Therapy is essential; candidates with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate will be considered.
• Strong communication skills to connect effectively with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage patient records efficiently and maintain treatment schedules.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year , commensurate with experience and caseload.
