Work Environment

As part of an onsite home care team, you will work directly in patients' residences, delivering therapy services where they feel most comfortable. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, developing individualized treatment plans aimed at improving movement and function.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities and techniques, including evidence-based interventions and manual therapy methods, to facilitate recovery and enhance mobility.
• Create and implement customized exercise regimens that promote strength, flexibility, and coordination, adjusting these programs as patients progress in their rehabilitation.
• Motivate and guide patients through their treatment plans, celebrating milestones and progress while empowering them throughout their recovery journeys.
• Thoroughly document patient interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and share insights that will aid in the overall treatment approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus includes individuals recuperating from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. You will work closely with patients of diverse backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their specific rehabilitation goals. Your expertise will be vital in minimizing the need for medications and surgical interventions by providing effective alternative solutions.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida with no disciplinary actions or board issues on record.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, ideally in a home care or outpatient setting.
• Proficient in developing and conducting therapeutic exercise regimens.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of rehabilitation practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a home health care setting, providing services within patients' residences.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for effective documentation and communication.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques, such as Kinesiology Tape or Dry Needling.

Compensation and Benefits
