Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, evaluating their physical abilities, medical histories, and functional limitations to create effective treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that are evidence-based and patient-centered, utilizing modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and assistive devices.
• Regularly monitor and document patients' progress towards their therapeutic goals; adjust treatment plans based on their evolving needs and responses to therapies.
• Educate patients and their families on condition management, injury prevention, and techniques to promote healthier lifestyles, fostering independence and confidence.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure cohesive and holistic care for our patients.
• Stay informed of the latest research, techniques, and equipment in physical therapy to maintain best practices in treatment.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations and enhancing service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse patient population, including seniors recovering from surgery, individuals dealing with chronic pain, and patients with mobility challenges. You will adapt your approach to meet the unique, often complex needs of each client, fostering environments that allow individuals to regain independence and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• An active Florida State License to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills that facilitate effective patient interactions and collaboration with healthcare teams.
