Work Environment

As a Licensed Physical Therapist within our organization, you will primarily work in a home care setting, allowing you to directly interact with patients in a comfortable and familiar environment. This role allows for flexibility in managing your daily schedule while maintaining a full caseload. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and will engage with patients one-on-one to develop effective treatment plans. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and limitations.
• Create and modify individualized treatment plans based on data collected from patient assessments, physician referrals, and family input.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
• Educate patients and their families about the treatment process, exercises, safety precautions, and long-term health strategies.
• Regularly re-evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment goals and interventions as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.
• Properly document all patient interactions, evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
• Utilize and maintain physical therapy equipment, ensuring safety and efficacy during treatment sessions.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and integrate evidence-based techniques into your care.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Ensure compliance with state practice acts and all relevant healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various debilitating conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited program in physical therapy.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with a temporary permit accepted during transitional periods.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Healthcare Provider certification.
• Demonstrated understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan to apply age-appropriate care strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
