Work Environment

This position is onsite and primarily involves home care treatment sessions, allowing you to engage directly with patients in a comfortable and familiar environment. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a stable work-life balance. Our facility emphasizes maintaining the highest standards of safety and sanitation, ensuring both our therapists and patients feel secure while promoting healing and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations to assess patient conditions, establish baselines, and develop targeted treatment plans tailored to individuals.
• Administer personalized therapeutic interventions that integrate manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to restore function, improve mobility, and enhance quality of life.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies and re-evaluating goals as necessary, all while adhering to clinical guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and patients to ensure cohesive care delivery, addressing any concerns and providing ongoing support throughout the treatment process.
• Conduct education sessions for patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies, further empowering them in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily engage with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clientele comprises individuals who require tailored rehabilitation programs designed to regain their functional abilities and enhance their overall well-being. This focused approach ensures that every patient receives the attention they deserve, promoting effective recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Completed a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active Florida Physical Therapy license, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with a strong emphasis on outpatient or orthopedic care settings, demonstrating your ability to handle diverse patient scenarios effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a home care setting, understanding the unique challenges and advantages of delivering therapy in a patient's home.
