Work Environment

This position is offered onsite in a supportive and collaborative environment, where you will work directly within patients' homes as part of our home care services. Our established clinic culture prioritizes teamwork and open communication, creating a nurturing atmosphere for both staff and patients. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to accommodate patient needs, ensuring accessibility for our clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities while educating them on techniques to promote physical well-being and relieve pain.
• Administer advanced modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, enhancing recovery outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional capabilities.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to streamline patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and motivational encouragement throughout the rehabilitation process, fostering a positive environment for healing and progress.
• Maintain treatment areas and ensure all equipment is ready and organized for therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgery, trauma, or chronic physical conditions, as well as senior patients striving to maintain independence. Our clients may also comprise athletes seeking to regain peak performance and children with developmental challenges. Your role will involve understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by each patient, using tailored techniques that encourage engagement and participation in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a physical therapy or rehabilitation setting.
• Experience in home health care or outpatient therapy is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and patient management software.

Compensation and Benefits
