We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Serenity Motion Therapy, a leading rehabilitation facility located in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Work Environment

As a member of our onsite rehabilitation facility, you will collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals, including two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. Our facility is equipped with advanced modalities and tools necessary for effective treatment, promoting a welcoming atmosphere that encourages patient recovery and staff collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to identify their individual goals and challenges.
• Manage a dedicated caseload, providing personalized therapy sessions to one patient per hour, ensuring focused attention on their health journey.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that utilize various treatment techniques based on the latest clinical evidence.
• Design tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at meeting the specific needs of each patient.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to enhance patient mobility and reduce pain.
• Monitor and document treatment outcomes meticulously, adjusting workout protocols based on continuous assessment of patient progress.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers to develop optimal treatment strategies, ensuring seamless communication throughout the care process.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle by advising patients on exercises that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient demographic includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal issues. As a Physical Therapist, you will face the rewarding challenge of aiding patients in their journey toward recovery, rehabbing post-operative knee replacements, shoulder repairs, and other joint-related issues. Your work will inherently contribute to improving their daily functionality and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, while a Master's or Doctorate degree (DPT) is preferred.
• Possession of a valid state license to practice as a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a clean professional record, free of disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques is essential.
• Competency in developing exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred, as it equips you to handle the facility's diverse case load annually.
• The ability to lead rehabilitation sessions and manage a busy schedule efficiently.
• A track record of successfully collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
