Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical capabilities and needs, developing personalized treatment plans based on these evaluations.
• Implement therapeutic interventions through a variety of techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Guide and support patients through active and passive exercises, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation protocols, proper exercise techniques, and strategies to manage their conditions effectively.
• Continuously track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their physical function and mobility. Our patient demographic varies from adolescents to seniors, each requiring individualized care plans tailored to their unique needs and rehabilitation goals. Your empathetic approach will be essential in fostering trust and encouraging adherence to their rehabilitation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, with a qualification to practice as a licensed Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Minimum of one year of experience in an orthopedic setting, demonstrating clinical competence in assessment and treatment procedures.
• Current, active State Physical Therapy license.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans as patient needs evolve.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a rehabilitation setting, particularly focusing on orthopedic physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
