We primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, ensuring that our services are accessible and efficient. Our collaborative environment includes a team of experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, all committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite in Pembroke Pines, Florida, in our well-equipped facility specifically designed for orthopedic outpatient therapy. The practice fosters a supportive atmosphere where you can focus on providing personalized care, and you'll have access to cutting-edge rehabilitation technologies and resources. Our typical business hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand each patient's specific goals and functional requirements to establish personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a consistent caseload effectively, seeing one patient per hour to ensure thorough attention and care.
• Utilize your experience in orthopedic outpatient settings to provide cost-effective treatment interventions that enhance range of motion and mobility.
• Employ alternative therapies to reduce reliance on medications and avoid surgical procedures when appropriate.
• Create comprehensive care strategies that include varied treatment techniques and document all services delivered meticulously.
• Develop fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's unique needs and lifestyle for continued wellness once therapy finishes.
• Motivate and guide patients through their therapeutic journey, helping them reach milestones and optimize their functioning.
• Encourage lifestyle changes to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, contributing to overall health.
• Engage in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and monitor progress to adapt care plans as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patients will primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgeries, and sports-related injuries. The focus will be on creating personalized care experiences that consider their medical histories, lifestyles, and individual rehabilitation goals. Your ability to connect with patients and drive motivation will be essential in helping them achieve lasting improvements in their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possession of a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Impeccable professional record without any board or disciplinary actions taken against your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and experience delivering evidence-based physical therapy interventions.
• Competence in developing and implementing exercise protocols aligned with patient needs.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with knowledge of best practices in physical therapy.
• Strong background in sports rehabilitation and post-operative care.

Compensation and Benefits
