Key Responsibilities

• Implement and administer tailored treatment plans for patients, focusing on enhancing their mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and techniques aimed at promoting physical well-being and alleviating pain.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics, effective exercise techniques, and at-home programs to support their recovery journey.
• Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and thermal therapy under professional supervision to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional capabilities.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are organized for therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to harmonize treatment strategies and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Provide invaluable emotional support to patients, fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages participation and perseverance in their rehabilitation journey.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice, safeguarding patient confidentiality and respecting their rights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions, as well as elderly patients seeking to maintain their independence. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
