Our team consists of experienced professionals including two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) who work together to develop individualized treatment plans that address a variety of orthopedic conditions. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to identify specific goals and needs related to their orthopedic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans by incorporating various therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Manage and treat a patient caseload effectively with approximately one patient per hour, ensuring personalized attention and quality care.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and design tailored exercise programs based on patients' unique conditions.
• Monitor treatment outcomes, progress and adjust interventions as necessary to optimize patient functionality.
• Document all patient interactions and interventions diligently, ensuring accurate records are maintained in our EMR system, particularly WebPT.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a supportive environment that encourages personal achievement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including referring physicians and specialists, to enhance patient rehabilitation strategies.
• Educate patients on health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and healthy lifestyle choices to support their long-term wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals facing orthopedic challenges due to sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will guide patients through various stages of rehabilitation, ensuring they achieve their personal recovery goals while enhancing their overall physical performance and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is the minimum educational requirement; however, candidates with a Master's or Doctorate (DPT) degree are preferred.
• Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong professional ethic with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and capable of developing effective exercise protocols.
• Competent in using electronic medical record (EMR) software, especially WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, ideally in a similar rehabilitation facility.
• Demonstrated ability to develop patient engagement strategies that enhance compliance and motivation.

Compensation and Benefits
