Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, ensuring the effective implementation of treatment plans and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities utilizing diagnostic tests to assess muscle, joint, and nervous system functions.
• Assess home environments for rehabilitation, providing actionable recommendations to enhance client independence and mobility.
• Deliver physical therapy services as prescribed by physicians, applying diverse therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy, exercise, and modalities like traction and massage.
• Fit, adjust, and recommend modifications for prosthetics and orthotics, collaborating with the prescribing physician to ensure optimal use.
• Maintain detailed clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and quality standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment plans, progress, and ongoing needs of clients, contributing to holistic care approaches.
• Engage clients and their families in their therapy journeys, offering education on therapeutic devices and self-care strategies.
• Document clinical activities and submit relevant documentation promptly, upholding the standards and policies of the organization.
• Be readily accessible for consultation over treatment plans and progress of Physical Therapy Assistants during patient care.
• Complete other job-related tasks as assigned to support the overarching goals of Motion Menders Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
