Work Environment

The position is based in our Fort Lauderdale outpatient office, which is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to support the therapeutic needs of our patients. The work schedule runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, affording a structured environment that promotes a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to the medical and legal regulations governing physical therapy services in Florida, ensuring compliance with state practice acts.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic-related injuries to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and limitations.
• Perform detailed histories and assessments to document findings accurately; utilize evidence-based protocols to implement effective treatment strategies.
• Regularly monitor and adjust treatment based on patient progress and any changes in their condition, fostering an adaptive approach to rehabilitative care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, consulting with other healthcare professionals as required to optimize patient outcomes and address comprehensive health concerns.
• Manage all necessary documentation with precision, capturing patient care activities in compliance with organizational standards and healthcare regulations.
• Play a crucial role in discharge planning and post-treatment follow-up to ensure continuity of care and support patient transitions back to daily activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; while a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred.
• Active and valid physical therapy licensure in the State of Florida is essential.
• Minimum of two years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating proven clinical skills.
• Current certification in CPR, ensuring readiness for emergency situations.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years, candidates with extensive experience managing diverse orthopedic cases or specialized training in manual therapy techniques will be favored. Experience with electronic health record systems is also beneficial for efficient patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
