Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Pompano Beach rehabilitation facility, which provides a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for both patients and staff. You will be working Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering focused, one-on-one patient interactions. Our practice features a low-volume caseload, ensuring ample time for meaningful patient engagement and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop customized treatment plans that align with each patient's recovery needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based hands-on therapy techniques and movement-based rehabilitation methods to facilitate healing.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Adhere to clinic protocols and ensure proper documentation in line with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and improve overall wellness initiatives.
• Engage patients in educational discussions to empower them in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will primarily consist of outpatient orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. You will be instrumental in helping patients regain mobility, strength, and function through personalized treatment interventions. The emphasis on establishing rapport will allow you to understand their specific concerns, fostering a therapeutic alliance conducive to healing.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated knowledge of orthopedic practices and rehabilitation methods.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in an outpatient setting, is strongly preferred.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, which aids in seamless documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
