Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients to assess physical function and identify impairments.
• Create, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving individual patient goals, guided by objective health status data.
• Document treatment sessions thoroughly and manage billing processes accurately to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Demonstrate expertise in equipment use and care, ensuring safety measures are communicated effectively to patients and families.
• Maintain regular communication with referring physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Participate in patient education initiatives, providing family members with essential information regarding recovery, prognosis, and best practices post-therapy.
• Regularly re-evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments as necessary to enhance recovery trajectories.
• Engage with patients in all age groups, demonstrating the capability to modify approaches based on developmental and age-specific needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited physical therapy program.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida, with temporary permits being accepted during the application process.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Compensation and Benefits
