Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in the beautiful coastal city of Boca Raton. The facility is designed to promote an environment of healing and teamwork, featuring advanced therapeutic equipment and dedicated spaces for rehabilitation activities. Our full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allows for a structured work-life balance while engaging in meaningful patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patient conditions, identifying sports-related injuries and orthopedic issues.
• Create and implement tailored rehabilitation plans utilizing evidence-based practices to help patients regain mobility and strength.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.
• Apply advanced therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and tailored strength training interventions.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously using electronic medical records (EMR), adjusting treatment plans based on evolving patient needs and outcomes.
• Deliver educational sessions to patients and their families concerning injury management, performance enhancement, and preventive strategies.
• Activate community outreach initiatives that promote sports health and provide informative workshops on injury prevention.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists primarily of athletes and physically active individuals ranging from amateur to semi-professional levels. We are committed to restoring their function and enhancing their performance so they can return to their sports and activities safely. The diversity of our clientele allows our therapists to work with a variety of conditions, from acute injuries to chronic pain, requiring a deep understanding of sports-specific mechanisms.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Florida PT license or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in either sports medicine or orthopedic physical therapy is required.
• Certification such as SCS (Sports Certified Specialist) is highly desirable, showcasing commitment to the field.
• Effectively communicate and motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey with a strong patient-centered approach.
• Hold a valid CPR/BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience is required, candidates with a proven track record in hands-on care and diverse sports rehabilitation practices will be favored. Experience with advanced modalities or certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques can give candidates a competitive edge.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
