You will play a key role in the promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients experiencing physical limitations.

Work Environment

This position requires a presence in patients' homes, allowing us to provide personalized care in an environment where they feel most comfortable. As a full-time physical therapist, you will work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, ensuring that you can dedicate focused time to each patient while maintaining a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and fulfill patients' specific therapeutic objectives and treatment requirements.
• Manage a patient load efficiently, providing individualized care to one patient per hour.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient settings to enhance patient recovery.
• Develop and implement cost-effective therapeutic interventions aimed at improving clients' range of motion and mobility.
• Employ non-invasive and non-surgical alternatives to minimize reliance on medications.
• Create and execute comprehensive treatment plans incorporating various therapeutic techniques.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs that cater to each patient's unique condition.
• Deliver high-quality, individualized care grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment process to improve functionality.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle among clients by targeting improvements in strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes, monitor patient progress, and maintain thorough communication.
• Document all services provided to patients accurately and in a timely manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as an orthopedic physical therapist will primarily involve working with a diverse clientele facing recovery from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. By providing therapy in-home, you enable patients to engage with their treatment in a familiar environment, enhancing their comfort and willingness to participate actively in the recovery process.

Qualifications

• Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensing as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques to aid patients effectively.
• Strong skills in designing and implementing customized exercise programs.
• Familiarity with EMR software such as WebPT for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with orthopedic patients in an outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based practices in a therapeutic environment.
• A record of positive outcomes in improving patient mobility and functionality.

Compensation and Benefits
