Work Environment

This position is onsite, working directly in patients' homes in the Coconut Creek area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions based on orthopedic needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with established best practices and physician care plans.
• Implement rehabilitation programs that may include exercises, manual therapy, gait training, and the use of therapeutic modalities to promote recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on in-home exercise options and self-management strategies to encourage long-term progress and adherence to treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and case notes in accordance with agency policy and professional standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring all healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care have the necessary information for comprehensive evaluations.
• Monitor patients' responses to therapy and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions requiring rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist, you will focus on the prevention and treatment of functional disorders, helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence in their daily activities. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• At least three years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Certification in First Aid, AED, and CPR is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a range of orthopedic conditions.
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer software.

Preferred Experience

Experience with advanced therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, various exercise modalities, and patient education strategies is preferred. Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
