Work Environment

Our facility offers a vibrant, team-oriented environment where you will work alongside a diverse group of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and administrative staff. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. We aim to reduce the burden of paperwork by utilizing efficient electronic medical record (EMR) systems like WebPT, ensuring you can focus on what you do best: providing outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess individual patient needs by conducting thorough evaluations and leveraging advanced diagnostic skills to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver hands-on care through manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities to improve patients' mobility and overall function.
• Manage a consistent patient load averaging one patient per hour, allowing for individualized attention and focused care.
• Utilize a wide range of therapeutic techniques in designing fitness and wellness programs based on each patient's specific needs and recovery goals.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a coordinated approach to patient management and rehabilitation.
• Document all patient interactions and progress in our EMR system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records to track improvement and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Evaluate patient outcomes regularly to assess the effectiveness of treatment and modify strategies to optimize rehabilitation success.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications to enhance their rehabilitation efforts, promoting independence and long-term health.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment journeys, fostering an encouraging atmosphere that aids in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve at Restore Wellness will consist predominately of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse patient population ranges from young athletes seeking to recover from injury and weekend warriors to older adults focusing on improving their mobility and quality of life. Understanding the unique challenges faced by each demographic is essential in providing effective and empathetic care.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program implementation.
• Experience with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly favored.
• Prior experience in formulating and executing rehabilitation programs with proven success in patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
