Experienced Physical Therapist - Outpatient Rehabilitation Specialist

Work Environment

Our outpatient facility features spacious treatment areas, private consultation rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere aimed at making every patient feel at home. As a Staff Physical Therapist, you will have the resources and support needed to deliver effective care to our clients. Your work week will be structured from Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM , allowing a consistent routine that fosters strong therapeutic relationships with patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to accurately diagnose patients' conditions, establishing a solid foundation for effective treatment plans.
• Design and implement individualized treatment programs that may include modalities such as manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education on self-management strategies.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team consisting of physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to promote optimal outcomes.
• Provide thorough education for patients and their families regarding therapeutic techniques, lifestyle modifications, and strategies for injury prevention to enhance recovery and maintain progress.
• Ensure adherence to all organizational policies and relevant regulatory standards to maintain the highest level of care and safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role primarily involves working with a diverse population of patients ranging from post-surgical individuals to those with musculoskeletal issues or chronic pain conditions. Patient interactions require patience, empathy, and strong communication skills to effectively address their concerns and motivate them towards recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, or eligibility to become licensed within the state.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification, preferably through the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrated strong clinical reasoning and interpersonal skills essential for patient interactions.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and providing patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting.
• New graduates with a passion for physical therapy and eagerness to learn are also encouraged to apply; mentorship opportunities will be provided.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 per year , commensurate with experience.
