Work Environment

The position is based onsite and involves delivering direct, hands-on physical therapy services in a home care setting. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions and develop customized treatment plans focusing on their unique rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a manageable and appropriate patient load, ensuring each individual receives personalized attention and adequate time during their sessions.
• Implement evidence-based practices and cost-effective treatment modalities to enhance motion, mobility, and overall patient satisfaction.
• Incorporate non-surgical approaches to care, emphasizing alternatives to medication and invasive procedures.
• Create and execute comprehensive fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's individual requirements and health status.
• Document treatment plans and patient progress thoroughly using EMR software, specifically Web PT, for effective patient management.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adapt treatment strategies to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to align on patient care strategies and share insights for improved service delivery.
• Encourage and motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive mindset towards recovery.
• Promote the importance of a healthy lifestyle by helping patients improve their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on treating a diverse patient population within the outpatient setting, primarily involving individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with patients of all ages, guiding them through rehabilitation to overcome physical challenges and achieve functional independence, ultimately improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possess a valid Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida, ensuring compliance with all state regulations.
• Have a clean professional record, free from any sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exhibit mastery of various manual therapy modalities tailored to patient needs.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of developing successful and tailored exercise programs for diverse rehabilitation scenarios.
• Competence in electronic medical records (EMR) software usage, particularly Web PT.
• Stay updated on emerging physical therapy methodologies backed by current research and evidence-based practice.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting will be highly advantageous.
• Background in sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to deliver quality patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
