Regional Account Manager, MEP - South

Regional Account Manager – MEP (regional, field-based/remote) – Jacksonville or Orlando, Florida Job Summary As a Regional Account Manager in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) space, you will lead sales growth for a designated in-regional distributor network, develop relationships with end‑users, launch new products, and drive market share within the assigned territory. Responsibilities Manage and grow a designated in-region distributor network within the MEP space. Foster and maintain relationships internally to support distribution partners while driving end-user demand. Maintain a pipeline of prospective end-users and prioritize key users in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing. Partner with regional teams to plan and execute sales processes and year‑over‑year growth. Launch new products within the region and keep relevant parties updated. Keep management and marketing updated on competitor trends and changes. Possess in‑depth product knowledge and applications in the Mechanical/Plumbing/HVAC channel. Drive market share growth and increase top‑line sales in the assigned market. Prepare and execute key product demonstrations and counter‑days for end‑users. Coordinate promotions, COOP, and marketing support for account growth. Educate decision makers on rebate programs and track progress toward goals. Manage purchase orders and pricing, resolving issues with Customer Service and Channel Marketing. Track sales goals and progress using Power BI to analyze business data for growth opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of experience in sales or marketing for construction supplies with a proven track record. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem‑solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Ability to combine empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results. Valid driver’s license and physical ability to travel up to 50% of the week. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Travel Requirements Approximately 60% regional travel required. Compensation Base salary range: $84,000 – $135,200 (inclusive of target variable compensation). Eligible for sales incentive plan or commission.
