Title Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine (Clinical Track Faculty) – Department of Emergency Medicine, Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis Position Summary The Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine (IUSM EM) seeks outstanding faculty with a passion for patient care, teaching, service, and scholarship. Department Overview Our department is one of the oldest residency programs in the country and provides comprehensive pre‑hospital and emergency care at major academic hospitals, including Methodist (level 1 trauma center, 95,000 annual visits), Riley Hospital for Children (level 1 trauma center, burn unit, 47,000 visits), and Eskenazi Health (level 1 trauma and burn center, >88,000 visits). We also staff four community hospital sites across Indiana. Location Indianapolis, the capital of Indiana, offers a dynamic mix of business, culture, and quality of life with strong life‑science industries and top‑ranked educational systems. Basic Qualifications Doctorate or terminal degree required. MD or DO board certified (or eligible) and Indiana license or ability to obtain.
