Shifts are from 1800 to 0630 with a weekend requirement every other week. The nurse will be the first to float to the Progressive Care Unit for assignments unless telemetry trained. The unit has a total of 23 beds. Ratios are up to 1:6, with a maximum of 1:5 on day shifts from Monday to Friday. Holiday requirements typically pertain to the months of May to September and November to January, with no more than one holiday off requested during the contract.
