Front Office Manager

Overview Omni Royal Orleans Hotel offers graceful elegance in a New Orleans French Quarter setting. A full property renovation combines modern amenities with classic design in guest rooms, including iconic wrought iron balconies and redesigned public spaces inspired by the local culture through various color palettes and artwork. Responsibilities Work closely with the Director of Rooms, Assistant Front Office Managers, and staff to ensure maximum Front Office operating efficiency. Train associates to ensure Omni Standards are met. Communicate with all department managers on an ongoing basis. Handle guest complaints and maintain a satisfactory impression while resolving issues. Be familiar with the hotel computer system for training, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Complete weekly supply inventories to ensure adequate pars. Complete rate discrepancy reports and implement needed changes. Block/assign applicable arrivals for the following day (e.g., VIPs, ESPs, special requests). Prepare group information sheets. Complete check-out with balance report and daily credit checks. Adhere to all systems and controls of the Front Office and relevant areas of responsibility. Ensure knowledge and training of the company and hotel marketing programs. Collaborate with the Loyalty Ambassador to ensure select guests are tracked and serviced. Qualifications Previous luxury hotel experience in Guest Services or Front Office is strongly preferred. Previous Front Office leadership experience is required. Flexible schedule; willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for the entire scheduled shift. Customer service oriented with the ability to multi-task, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. Knowledge of Property Management Systems and related computer programs.
