Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a meaningful contract position supporting young learners in a dynamic educational environment near Swartz Creek, MI. This opportunity is designed for a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about early intervention, providing leave coverage for the period of January 25, 2027, through April 30, 2027. With full-time hours and a birth-to-three caseload, you’ll have the chance to make a crucial impact during a formative period for these children and their families.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Michigan state license to practice as an SLP
- Clinical Certification (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads, especially birth-to-three years, highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to children ages birth to three
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and documentation in compliance with school and state standards
- Utilize evidence-based practices to maximize student outcomes during the leave coverage period
