The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This role will also involve working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports, ensuring legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments. Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process. 2. Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers' ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger. 3. Bring the books to the trial balance stage. 4. Perform partial checks of the posting process. 5. Complete tax forms. 6. Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements. 7. Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner. 8. Collaborate with the accounting team to develop forecasts and budgets. 9. Maintain an orderly accounting filing system. 10. Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested. Qualifications: 1. A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. 2. Proven bookkeeping experience. 3. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles. 4. Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records. 5. Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers. 6. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, and accounting software packages. 7. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. 8. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. 9. Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information. Interested in hearing more?
