Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a lasting impact as a contract Occupational Therapist working onsite for the 2026-2027 academic year. Situated near Denver, this role offers the opportunity to support students across multiple schools with a diverse K-12 caseload. Work collaboratively within a strong in-house OT team as you provide essential therapy and guidance during the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Occupational Therapist license or certification in Colorado
- Background in school-based OT services, preferably with itinerant/multi-site experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within a multidisciplinary environment
- Ability to adapt OT interventions for students with varied needs across elementary, middle, and high school settings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services and evaluate students at multiple locations
- Develop and implement individualized plans in coordination with teachers, staff, and other therapists
- Participate in IEP meetings, assist with case management, progress documentation, and family communication
- Support students in achieving their occupational therapy goals, addressing sensory, motor, and self-regulation challenges
- Remain onsite for all scheduled hours (37.5 per week), following the academic calendar from August 5, 2026 to May 27, 2027
