Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic educational environment near Arvada, CO, as a registered Occupational Therapist supporting students from preschool through high school for the full 2026-27 academic year. This engaging contract opportunity includes two positions: one full-time and one at 0.8 FTE. You’ll play a key role in fostering independence, skill development, and academic success for diverse learners across two school sites.

Your assignments will reflect an innovative allocation model, purposely designed to ensure balanced and equitable workloads, especially for those supporting preschools and specialized programs. This thoughtful approach lets you focus where your impact is needed most, while managing a sustainable caseload (typically 40-60 students).

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license
• Colorado Department of Education (DOE) license required
• DORA certification required
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Adaptability to support students in both direct and consultative roles

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services across the educational spectrum, from preschoolers to high school students
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to unique student needs
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and fellow service providers
• Accurately document sessions and monitor student progress, communicating outcomes clearly and effectively
• Participate in the required Summer Symposium New Hire Orientation (July 27-31), then transition to campus sites for the academic year starting August 3
