Our client, a financial services company, is looking to hire a Paralegal in Cincinnati, OH.

Location: Cincinnati, OH 45226 (Onsite)

Duration: 6-Month Contract (Possibility of Extension)

Pay Rate: $23–$25 per hour (W-2)

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to support legal document processing, account research, and regulatory compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing legal documents, processing legal orders, maintaining accurate records, and completing digital responses while meeting established deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret legal documents, court orders, and other legal notices.
• Process garnishments, levies, and child support orders in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Perform data entry and update records accurately within internal systems.
• Review PDF documents and complete electronic legal responses.
• Research accounts and determine account ownership based on legal documentation.
• Manage exceptions, identify potential risks, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate case records and audit documentation.
• Process account holds and remittances as required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations and legal deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with courts, attorneys, government agencies, and internal teams.

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of legal documents, court orders, and legal procedures.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in reviewing PDF documents and completing digital forms or responses.
• Ability to interpret legal instructions and follow established procedures.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Details

• This is a fully onsite position in Cincinnati, OH.
• The initial contract duration is six months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
• The interview process consists of one Microsoft Teams interview. Candidates must be prepared to appear on camera.
• Candidates must be comfortable working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
