Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2231.84 Opportunity: L&D Days Job Details: • Day shift position with option of 36 or 48 hours per week • First time travelers welcome • 3 years of experience preferred, minimum 2 years required • Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends • 4-6 weekend shifts required per 6-week period • Scrubs provided by facility • Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP (pending certifications accepted) • AWHONN Advanced certification preferred • Required skills include: antepartum care, anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, assisting with high-risk and vaginal deliveries, circulating for C-sections, recovering C-section patients, insulin drips, isolation precautions/PPE, maintaining central lines (CVC/PICC), sterile vaginal exams, triage of obstetrical patients, and use of external fetal monitoring (EFM) • Patient age groups include neonates and adults • 15-room/15-bed unit • Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary • May be expected to float to like units within scope based on facility needs Facility: This healthcare facility offers a well-equipped Labor & Delivery unit with 15 beds, serving a census of 100-200 facility births per month.
