Role Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in cloud-native platforms, API development, Azure, AWS, CI/CD, GitHub, Identity & Access Management, Observability, and secure engineering practices.
• The ideal candidate will design, build, and operate scalable enterprise platforms and reusable engineering capabilities that enable application teams to develop and deploy secure, reliable, and highly available services. The role requires a strong combination of software engineering, cloud engineering, API development, DevOps, and platform engineering experience.

Day to Day Job Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native platforms and runtime environments.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices to support platform and application capabilities.
• Build and operate enterprise solutions across Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Design reusable platform services, APIs, libraries, and engineering components for development teams.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and other DevOps technologies.
• Manage source control, branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and release workflows using GitHub.
• Deploy and operate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM), authentication, authorization, secrets management, and secure service-to-service communication.
• Implement platform observability covering metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, configuration, and operational activities.
• Partner with application development, architecture, security, SRE, and DevOps teams to improve developer experience and platform adoption.
• Troubleshoot complex application, API, cloud, and platform issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement secure engineering and DevSecOps practices across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Conduct code and design reviews and contribute to platform engineering standards and reusable patterns.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, resilience, and operational efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with API development, Microservices, and cloud-native application development.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud services.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD, GitHub, Kubernetes, Identity/IAM, Observability, and secure engineering practices.
