Role: Senior Technology Consultant - Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Westlake, Texas/Durham, North Carolina(Hybrid)

Day to Day Job Duties:

• Design, provision, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Build, configure, and manage Amazon EKS and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
• Configure cloud networking, including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, security groups/NSGs, load balancers, and gateways.
• Configure and support API gateways, NAT gateways, application gateways, VPNs, and private connectivity.
• Design and implement IAM/RBAC roles, policies, permissions, and service identities following least-privilege principles.
• Configure secure connectivity between cloud environments, applications, Kubernetes workloads, and enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Manage Kubernetes networking, ingress, DNS, certificates, service exposure, and load balancing.
• Implement cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, and infrastructure observability.
• Troubleshoot complex network, IAM, EKS/AKS, gateway, and cloud connectivity issues.
• Implement cloud security controls, encryption, secrets management, and secure infrastructure practices.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure provisioning and deployments.
• Collaborate with application, DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Security teams on cloud implementations.
• Support high availability, disaster recovery, capacity planning, performance optimization, and infrastructure resilience.

Basic Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure networking, gateways, load balancing, and cloud connectivity.
• 3+ years of experience with Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, Kubernetes, and containerized infrastructure.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS IAM/Azure Entra ID & RBAC, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud security.

Nice to Have:

• Experience designing hybrid-cloud or multi-cloud AWS/Azure environments.
• Experience with AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, VPN, PrivateLink/Private Endpoint, and private cloud connectivity.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes ingress controllers, Helm, service mesh, and Kubernetes security.
• Experience with AWS Route 53 and Azure DNS.
• Knowledge of AWS WAF, Azure WAF, cloud firewalls, and network security.
• Experience implementing highly available and disaster-recovery architectures across cloud environments.
• Experience with GitOps and automated Kubernetes deployments.
• Knowledge of SRE principles and production infrastructure support.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and infrastructure capacity management.
• AWS, Azure, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), or Terraform certifications are preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
