Assistant Portfolio Manager

POSITION: Assistant Portfolio Manager (Full Time, Exempt)COMPENSATION: Pursuant to Colorado regulations, if this job is performed in Colorado, the salary range is $85,000 - $95,000 plus bonus potential. SUMMARYAs Assistant Portfolio Manager, you are primarily responsible for assisting in the oversight of on-site operations from the corporate level across the portfolio of remote residential communities.RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to):Assist Portfolio Manager (PM) in maintaining all operational community information: vendor contacts, employee rosters, budgets, marketing strategy, etc. on a weekly and monthly basis.Serve as a supplemental point of contact between the PM, Cardinal HQ and the on-site teams.Assist in the preparation and interpretation of reports necessary for auditing community performance.Provide supplemental support, as directed by PM, to the Community Managers to ensure that all policies and procedures are followed according to best practice.Contribute to capital improvement planning and execution of projects as needed.Participate in Cardinal U training as required.QUALIFICATIONSOperate with professional written and verbal communication skills, as well as possess great interpersonal skillsMeet strict deadlines and prioritize assigned projects and tasks accordingly.Utilize analytical skills, attention to detail and a strong work ethic.Problem solve and think outside-of-the-box.Ability to be influential, self-motivated, and self-managed.Provide customer service focused deliverables (i.e. generating accurate and timely results and effectively communicating to team members, co-workers and management).Willing to travel 8-12 weeks per year.Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values every day.WORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
