Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments to accurately gauge students' mental health needs, gather pertinent historical information, and identify strengths and resources available to them.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that detail specific goals and interventions tailored to the unique needs of each student.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and school personnel, to ensure comprehensive, team-based approaches for client care.

• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning as necessary to support students during periods of acute distress.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards to ensure continuity of care.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups to enhance skills and community connectivity among participants.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents, as well as their families, addressing a variety of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and behavior issues. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
