Work Environment

This role involves working onsite in a home care setting, bringing therapy services directly to patients in their homes in Winchester and surrounding areas. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic treatment that aligns with each patient's unique recovery goals. Your work hours will typically be Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM, offering a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized therapy treatment programs for patients referred by their physicians, specifically focusing on orthopedic conditions.
• Conduct thorough assessments to determine patient needs and develop specific goals that lead to optimal recovery outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to treat a diverse range of patients, including those rehabilitating from orthopedic surgeries or injuries.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers, empowering them with the knowledge to maintain their progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with established protocols and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members, contributing to a collaborative approach to patient care that fosters improved health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We emphasize a patient-centered approach, ensuring that therapy plans not only address physical rehabilitation but also consider psychological well-being and lifestyle factors. Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active State License in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of experience working as a physical therapist, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation being highly desirable.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in computer-based documentation and handling of electronic health records.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with rehabilitation for sports-related injuries or post-operative orthopedic care.
• Background in pediatric or geriatric physical therapy is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability in patient education and community outreach initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits
