Work Environment

As a member of Valleywise Physical Therapy, you will work in an onsite home care setting, providing therapeutic services within the communities of Winchester, VA, and its surroundings. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Valleywise Physical Therapy, you will:

• Evaluate patients to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to a wide range of conditions, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Deliver purposeful and skilled care that aligns with the patient's medical goals, consistently striving for improvement in their physical function.
• Consult with and educate patients and their caregivers about treatment methodologies, encouraging self-management and engagement in their recovery process.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with established healthcare protocols and goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service, fostering a welcoming atmosphere that encourages patients to achieve their functional and mobility goals.
• Participate in team meetings to review patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, promoting interprofessional collaboration to enhance care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or undergoing rehabilitation after injuries. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

• At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Current CPR certification and a commitment to maintaining professional development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by proficiency in electronic medical records and word processing.

Preferred Experience
