Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking an Import/Export Coordinator to work at a premier manufacturing client in Tewksbury, MA .
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM & May require overtime during peak shipping periods
What's a typical day as Import/Export Coordinator? You'll be:

• Preparing and processing domestic and international shipments in compliance with regulations and customer requirements
• Creating and verifying export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, and shipping labels
• Ensuring compliance with U.S. export regulations, customs laws, and international shipping standards
• Coordinating shipments with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and internal departments
• Scheduling pickups, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery
• Verifying shipment accuracy against sales orders and packing instructions
• Packaging products securely and maintaining records of export transactions
• Operating shipping software and ERP systems to process orders and generate shipping documents
• Monitoring inventory of shipping supplies and packaging materials
• Investigating and resolving shipping discrepancies, delays, or customs issues
• Supporting warehouse, receiving, and inventory activities as needed
• Following all company safety procedures and quality standards

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Bring at least 2 years of shipping, logistics, or warehouse experience (preferred)
• Have experience with international/export shipping and a solid understanding of export documentation and customs procedures (required)
• Are familiar with shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL) and freight providers
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and shipping software, especially the FedEx system
• Have strong organizational and communication skills, and great attention to detail
• Can lift and move packages up to 50 lbs and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and forklift certification is preferred
• Knowledge of Incoterms, international trade compliance, and hazardous materials shipping regulations is a plus
