Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough movement evaluations to assess patients' physical limitations and functional capabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic programs based on evaluation findings, treatment objectives, and patient goals.
• Monitor and modify treatment interventions based on ongoing assessments to ensure effective progress towards rehabilitation milestones.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, self-management strategies, and injury prevention techniques.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment protocols, and progress notes accurately and promptly within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care as needed.
• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will primarily focus on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with individuals of all ages, from active young adults to seniors aiming to maintain mobility and independence. Your role is crucial in providing compassionate care and tailored rehabilitation strategies to address their specific challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Active Physical Therapy license in California, or the ability to obtain one before the start date.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt treatments to each patient's evolving needs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport with patients and their support systems.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
