Duties and Responsibilities Candidates are required to perform duties in accordance with the MSCA contract. Duties include teaching, advising, scholarship and contributions to continuously improve the department and university. The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. The position is subject to available funding. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching in higher education. Experience with online asynchronous or hybrid instruction and learning management systems, such as Canvas. Expertise Areas Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Evidence-based instructional practices, materials, and methods for teaching students with moderate disabilities Literacy instruction for students with disabilities Diagnostic and educational assessment for students with disabilities Development, interpretation, and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Autism spectrum disorder, including school-based and home-based interventions, collaboration with families, and advocacy for students with autism Working Location This is an on-site position in Salem, MA with on-campus, in-person responsibilities.
