Assistant Club Manager

Job Details Location: Kansas City, MO 64133 Organization Overview Title: Assistant Club Manager Reports To: Club Manager Key Relationships: Salary Non-Exempt Responsibilities Assisting with oversight of club operations, guaranteeing an exceptional member experience and ensuring the financial stability of the club. Assisting in the interviewing and recruitment process by conducting initial phone interviews of member service representatives and fitness trainers. Driving club metrics in alignment with business performance. Leading by example and inspiring teammates to deliver service excellence. Monitoring inventory and reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly sales data with the club manager to identify opportunities and adjust execution as needed. Upholding company standards by maintaining a clean, friendly, and well‑maintained club. Ensuring teammates consistently execute the basics (punctuality, dress code compliance, friendliness, and cleanliness). Assisting in overseeing club audits to ensure all areas of the club are clean, neat, organized, and in “like new” condition. Training front‑end employees to promote career growth through coaching, development, and performance assessment. Performing other duties as assigned by the Club Manager. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Excellent customer service skills with a high degree of member care. Previous experience leading teams in a retail or fitness environment. Self‑starter, motivated and enthusiastic about creating the best experience for members. Well organized, reliable, detail oriented, and able to work without direct supervision in a team environment. Physical Demand Must be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull at least 50 lbs.
