Intervention Services Tutor - Reading
$21.18 - $25.38 per hourLakeville Area Schools
Position Summary Intervention Services Tutor: 3.00 hours per day / 176 days per year. Start/End times TBD. Intervention Services Tutor positions are classified as B‑2‑1 under the 2025‑2027 LEAF contract, with a starting salary of $21.18–$25.38 per hour depending on experience. Qualifications AA College Degree or 2 years of College required. Experience working with students in a small group setting preferred. Responsibilities Provide targeted intervention support for identified students in reading and/or math to support progress toward grade‑level standards and benchmarks. Monitor and document student progress using district‑or program‑approved assessment criteria and instructional tools. Facilitate small‑group instructional activities aligned to classroom learning goals and intervention plans. Reinforce foundational and grade‑level skills introduced by the classroom teacher through guided practice and differentiated support. Collaborate and communicate regularly with reading interventionists and classroom teachers regarding student progress, performance, and instructional needs.
