Job Description

This RN position is part of the Med/Surg Tele/IMC Float Pool, requiring recent Epic experience. The traveler will be floated from Med/Surg units to IMC units and must be comfortable with patient ratios of 1:4-1:6. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in telemetry and Intermediate Care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients including those with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, and myocardial infarction.
• Manage telemetry and intermediate care for a diverse patient population.
• Float between Med/Surg, IMC, and other related units as required.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols, including managing cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of Telemetry experience in a hospital setting.
• 2+ years of experience on an IMC unit required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Recent experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
