Position Overview

Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will undertake diagnostic examinations, work in concert with a dedicated cohort of clinicians, and contribute to alleviating patients' fears through precise and timely imaging.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, communicating every step with kindness and clarity
• Work closely with radiologists and referring doctors to deliver high-quality, diagnostic imagery
• Manage and upkeep imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Thoroughly document procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic health information system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging methods and best practices

Educational Prerequisites

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant area
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
