Shift: 4x10.0, rotating, including holidays, weekends, and on-call/callback duties.

Job Description

This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department within a level 1 Trauma center. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients and post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care. Experience with GI post-procedural care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre/post procedural care for Interventional Radiology patients.
• Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post procedure.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure good communication and critical thinking to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Registered Nursing experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Telemetry experience required.
• New York RN license (only).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only).
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association only).
