What We Offer Paid Vacation and Time Off Health Benefits Dental Insurance Company-Paid Life Insurance 401(k) Plan Employee Stock Program About The Role As a Bilingual HR Assistant, you will help ensure smooth human resources operations by supporting employee relations, recruitment efforts, recordkeeping, onboarding, and compliance activities. This role serves as a key resource for employees and applicants while assisting with the day-to-day needs of the HR department. Key Responsibilities Support HR staff with administrative and clerical tasks Maintain employee files and HR information systems Process employment-related paperwork, including new hire and termination documentation Monitor and update driver DOT records and compliance information Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and requests Assist with hiring activities, interview scheduling, and applicant communications Coordinate training sessions, meetings, and HR programs Facilitate orientation for newly hired team members Generate reports and maintain accurate personnel records Answer and direct incoming phone calls Complete additional assignments as needed Qualifications Experience in Human Resources, recruiting, office administration, or a similar role Bilingual in English and Spanish Proficient computer and data-entry skills Working knowledge of labor and employment practices Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Professional communication and customer service abilities Equal Employment Opportunity Silver Star Construction is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
