Business Development Representative – Church Bulletin Advertising

Location: Remote
Job Type: Full-Time, Commission-Driven
Base Salary: $40,000 base (plus commissions and quarterly incentive bonuses)

About the Role

We are seeking a driven, self-starting Business Development Representative to help local businesses connect with the weekly parish bulletin. In this role, you will partner with pastors and church staff to provide them with a professionally printed weekly bulletin at little to no cost to the church. Your primary mission is to identify, contact, and sign local business sponsors in underserved a reas.

Key Responsibilities

• Territory Development: Hunt for and acquire new advertising accounts in untapped or underserved parish territories.
• B2B Outreach: Execute high-volume outbound calls, emails, and drop-in visits to local business owners, contractors, and professionals.
• Consultative Selling: Clearly communicate the value of sponsoring a church bulletin to build long-term local brand awareness.
• Relationship Management: Work with the local businesses and the church staff, guiding sponsors through the ad design , sales agreement and payment process.
• Goal Achievement: Meet and exceed weekly and quarterly quotas for signed ad contracts and revenue generation.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of B2B sales, outside sales, or business development experience (experience in print, advertising sales, or church-centric services is a huge plus).
• Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-first mentality.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own territory and schedule effectively.
• Reliable transportation for daily local territory travel.
